● Deglosser
● Sanding block
● Tack cloth
● Painter’s tape
● Primer
● Paint
● Foam roller
● Paint brushes
Paint the front entrance of your “projects house” for a more lively and welcoming look.
1.To prevent drips from damaging your flooring, place a drop cloth or tarp underneath the entrance. For the best possible protection, tuck it under the door.
2. Take off any hardware that is attached to the side of the door, including the doorknob and the latch, and set it aside for later use.
3. Using a tack cloth, apply the de glosser to the surface.
4. Once you’ve added the de glosser, sand the door to the desired degree of smoothness.
5. Using a clean, dry cloth, thoroughly clean and dry the door.
6. Cover any remaining hardware that is still attached to the door with tape, and then tape off the door’s borders.
7. Apply primer with a brush and wait at least 30 minutes, or the amount of time specified on the container, for it to dry before touching the surface again.
8. Begin by painting the door’s edges with a brush that has an angled end
9. Utilizing a foam roller, paint the remaining portions of the door. Do as many coats of paint as needed to ensure even color.
And just like that, you have a brand new statement in your home with almost no additional cost.
